明代南直隶各府举人的地理分布

明代南直隶大致包括今天的江苏省、安徽省和上海市，明代南直隶举人人数是明代各大政区的举人人数中最多的。本文通过辑录和考订相关文献，获得了明代南直隶举人的籍贯信息。对举人籍贯按府进行统计后发现，明代南直隶举人分布集中，主要分布于苏州、常州、应天、松江、徽州、扬州6府，此6府的举人中式率较高。而南直隶各府举人人数的多寡，与各府的属县数没有关联。     

The Changing Face of Public Adoption Practice

ABSTRACT

A study analyzing the workload of California's public adoption workers revealed how much adoption practice in the public sector has changed in recent years. Using focused discussion groups, this study found that compared to practice of an earlier time, (1) children available for placement come from more problematic families and are more difficult to place; (2) some decisions traditionally with the domain of adoptions are now being made by other social workers; and (3) increased oversight by the judicial system has had several unanticipated consequences, including adoption work taking on a “paralegal” quality and judges making traditional casework decisions.     

两岸旅游类高校人才培养模式的比较——以高雄餐旅大学与南京旅游职业学院为例

江苏旅游职业教育集团通过考察高雄餐旅大学，对台湾旅游职业教育发展模式有了一定的了解，并从中获得了很多经验和启示。南京旅游职业学院作为大陆知名的旅游高校，其人才培养模式与高雄餐旅大学有类似之处，但也存在一定的差距。通过对两者的比较，笔者认为以南京旅游职业学院为代表的大陆旅游高校应进一步改革创新，加快与国际旅游职业教育接轨的步伐。     

美国的正义之脸:行政法官

法律是实现正义的重要手段,法院的法官则代表着正义。随着行政机关被赋予了行政裁决的准司法权力,主持行政裁决的行政官员们也日趋受到关注,因为他们职责的履行同样也决定着正义是否能被真正实现。美国行政法官在社会中扮演着越来越重要的角色,虽然他们没有普通法院的法官地位显赫,但由于其在实现正义上有着不可替代的作用,行政法官越来越倍受人们的尊重。     

REVISITING THE AGENT OF SOCIAL CONTROL ROLE: IMPLICATIONS FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT

The agent of social control role and its responsibilities and goals provide an important function in social work practice. Workers in varied positions often combine this role with others that define the profession. Yet in the not too distant past, a debate arose as to whether this role, focusing on promoting and protecting the general welfare of society, could be congruent with also fostering the improved functioning and self‐determination of individual clients. Periodically, this topic emerges to challenge the appropriateness of these dual activities in satisfactorily and equitably serving both constituents.

Within the field of substance abuse, court‐mandated referrals have established a need for practitioners to perform social control tasks to monitor and report clients' compliance with and progress in treatment. This has created a conflict for many who consider their practice to be client‐centered. This article will explore the dilemmas experienced in attempting to simultaneously carry out both roles and the guidance provided from the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics. In addition, proposed strategies to reduce the duality of difficulties will be summarized.

《酌中志·饮食好尚纪略》是一个明代太监对宫廷岁时生活的系统记述,具有自己的书写特色和较高的史料价值。它揭示了明代宫廷岁时生活的如下特征:和宫廷以外的人一样,皇帝及其嫔妃、宫人也有其节日体系和节日生活,宫人们通常以家庭为单位来过节,节日生活充满了世俗色彩;宫内人的岁时节日生活带有明显的北京地方性特征;宫内人的岁时节日生活带有鲜明的宫廷色彩。     

The American Way

Media consolidation and convergence have increasingly changed the way individuals as both consumers and citizens access, process, and communicate information at the local, national, and global levels. Media industries and institutions influence public perception and occupy our time at work and at home more and more. Media literacy has become recognized as a twenty-first-century skill necessary for civic competence and the development of informed, responsible citizens. Although it has long been established in the curricula of other nations, it is relatively new in the United States. Media literacy is not simply teaching with media—rather, it entails teaching about media. Key frameworks such as the Text, Audience, and Production (TAP) model, which is explained in this article, can be used to help students systematically analyze and evaluate the wide range of media texts they are exposed to on a daily basis. The author discusses how media literacy is also compatible with several of the major strands identified by the National Council for the Social Studies and can be facilitated by the growing range of resources available to teachers.     

王宠惠法律思想与实践述评

王宠惠是我国近代著名的法学家，在法律理论方面有很高的造诣和独到的研究；在法律实践方面，他曾长期参与立法、司法工作，对我国近代法制的改革和建设有一定的贡献。文章就王氏在宪法、国际法、民法、司法建设等方面，对其法律思想和实践作一初步评述，以期为我国社会主义法制建设提供借鉴     

对法院调解的再认识

文章在分析法院调解的基本属性的基础上 ,强调指出 ,一定程度上人们对法院调解的认识已陷入误区。认为这是目前影响法院调解立法与实践操作的关键因素。笔者以此为切入点 ,主张对法院调解不可轻易言废 ,进而提出完善建议     

中国先秦时期知识观分析——基于西方知识论视野

“得到辩护的真信念”是西方哲学从纯粹的认知兴趣出发得出的关于知识的一贯定义,从这一定义出发,命题信念和客体信念根本不同.在西方知识论视域中对比考察儒家、道家和墨家述“知”的句法及其基本理论特点,我们可以得出结论:尽管先秦时期不乏纯粹的认知旨趣和句法等形式逻辑上的追求,但关于知的论述都以伦理诉求为旨归,从而缺乏西方文化传统中相应的成熟的认知理论以及形式逻辑体系.
